I attribute my massage skills to my grandparents, my grandmother would get home every morning at 1am from working evening shifts at children's hospital. I'd be sitting in the kitchen and she would say to me, "Good you're up" Grand mama dogs are barking tonight! I massaged her feet for years until the day she became an Angel, the relief I sensed from her during those moments caused me to connect with importance of what I was doing for her. My grandfather worked on the railroad, sometimes it required him to travel throughout the this country and sometimes he'd be gone for months at a time. Between his job and his garden he would have me and or my older brother rub green alcohol on his back and legs for the aches and pains from bending or sitting for long periods of time. Again, the importance of touch with the assistance of a few things can bring peace to a person's body and mind. I graduated from Everest college in 2013 at the top of my class and became better equipped to be more effective in helping people with their healing process. I was blessed to be able to start my own massage business to show the people the difference between being treated like a number and being treated like a human being.
